About The Quirky Fox
The Quirky Fox Emporium is a dynamic destination for antiques, collectibles, and vintage items.
In January 2023, owner Joseph Saitta and a close associate acquired the existing second-hand goods store, located in a beautiful 1920s building in the heart of Warburton. They embarked on an ambitious restoration project, revitalizing the dark, cluttered and outdated space into a brightly lit, professionally curated emporium brimming with charm and character. He deeply values the town’s sense of community and draws inspiration from its natural beauty—the Yarra River, lush greenery, abundant wildlife, and crisp, clean air. These elements have shaped both his personal life and the inviting atmosphere of The Quirky Fox Emporium.
In April 2024, Joseph took sole ownership of the business and completed its transformation. Today, he leads a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable assistants who play an integral role in the emporium’s success. Together, they have turned The Quirky Fox into a beacon for collectors, history enthusiasts, and anyone seeking unique treasures with a story.
Joseph’s entrepreneurial expertise spans more than three decades. As the former owner of a successful electrical business, he managed up to 15 employees and 10 service vans, honing his skills in leadership, customer service, and attention to detail. This experience has proven invaluable as he navigates the steep learning curve of the antiques, vintage and collectable trade.
Driven by an unwavering love for history and storytelling, Joseph thrives on uncovering, researching, and preserving the narratives behind each item he curates. At The Quirky Fox Emporium, he is committed to offering a thoughtfully selected array of antiques and collectibles that spark curiosity and connection. He believes that every visitor should leave not just with a purchase, but with a piece of history that resonates on a personal level.
